Hi and thank you for visiting my website, my name is Brandon Olivarez and I am a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and proud owner of Platinum DJ Entertainment.
I grew up in the small South Texas town of Aransas Pass, TX. After graduating High School I attended college for a couple of years but then in late 1994 after going through a tragedy in my family, I decided it was time for me to follow one of my many dreams and join the Marine Corps. While in the Marines, I was fortunate to travel to 14 countries as well as serve a tour in the Middle East prior to completing my 4 year enlistment and honorable discharge as a Sergeant in 1999.
After serving in the Marines, I moved back to South Texas and settled in beautiful San Antonio where I began work as an Aerospace Process Engineer. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University then continued and completed my Master’s Degree from Wayland Baptist University. I began DJing as a part time job in 2003 so my wife could be a stay at home mom and raise our new born son. Little did I know that DJing would become such a big part of our lives. As a DJ, I worked for a couple of DJ companies and then in 2007 I decided to start my own Entertainment Company and that’s when Platinum DJ Entertainment was born.
When I started Platinum DJ Entertainment, my goal from the very beginning was to provide a high end level of service with attention to detail and a full customer service guarantee. 13 years later, that has not changed. I am passionate and I take great pride in all I do. Your event is and always will be my priority. It is truly an honor and privilege to be part of so many special moments.
Lastly, I would like to recognize my beautiful wife Jessica, with whom I will celebrate our 18th anniversary in March of 2020. I am so grateful and am forever indebted to her for giving me my dream come true of having our son and daughter (Brandon Jr. & Scarlett) as well as believing in me and supporting my dreams along the way. Without her, none of this would have been possible.
